Sunday, scary Sunday
I stumbled across this one weeks ago, and saw it again yesterday. I though I would share:
Warning:
This could bother very young kids even with an explanation of what’s happened…* It certainly bothered the peole in the park that day… but my 10, 8 & 5 year olds watched it. It’s not gruesome.
I give you, The MindFreak
Today’s magician, Criss Angel, has a show called MindFreak (link) Wednesdays at 10 on A&E. And yes, now that I know this, I AM setting the DVR to record…
I saw this when it was on TV. It still freaks me out.
Criss Angel is amazing at what he does. I don’t recall they ever explained how this was done.
The only thing I can think is the lady was actually two women… you know, little people, one on the shoulders of another but hiding under the skirt.
What are your thoughts on this?
Close but not quite. Not little people, but little person and an amputee/birth defect victim. Or so I think.
My wife and I sat and discussed this… The woman pulling from the top is definately a plant too. She knew to lift the amputee. The amputee was VERY good at boogying across that lawn. She’d done that for years.
The legs had to feel real, soft and warm. So, no prosthetics.
The clincher… (ready for this?) did you notice that the torso screamed too? Someone was in there with a frame supporting the amputee on her shoulders… You can hear the thump of him hitting it AND the torso’s voice is muffled like it is in a box or something… He did a great job picking out these two! The size of the legs are perfect!
